MOMENT OF SILENCE
In honor and in memory of Joi Mayhawk (partner of Louis Katz) of Hartsdale. Joi was active in the community, very passionate about helping others, a model citizen and her advice was always appreciated and helpful
In memory of Margot Mendes Oppenheimer who was a dedicated board member and friend of the Greenburgh Nature Center. Her passion and belief in their mission was a guiding light and she will be remembered for her warm grace and kindness. Margot was also active with the Cotswold Association and many other efforts
In memory of Armand A. D'Amour, a long-time resident of Elmsford. Mr. D'Amour served in the United States Marine Corps,, was owner of A & C Auto Body, Inc. in White Plains. He was dedicated to helping the developmentally disabled and those with special needs for the past fifty years. He was a sixty year active member of the Elmsford Fire Department which he served in as both a firefighter and EMT. He served as Chief of the Department and President of the Fireman's Benevolent Association. Mr. D'Amour was a member of the Elmsford School Board and was Board President and Building Chairman. He served on the Village of Elmsford Planning Board from 1950 to 1972 and was a Village Trustee from 1981 to 1999. As a parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, he served as a Trustee, Parish Council Member, Usher and was a member of the Knights of Columbus and Holy Name Society |

SUPERVISOR & TOWN COUNCIL REPORTS/ANNOUNCEMENTS
GOOD NEWS...The Town continues (since 2008) to have the highest possible bond rating from Standard & Poors (AAA) and (since 2010) (Aaa) from Moody's. Less than 1% of communities in the nation have this record of financial stability. Recently (09/25/18), Standard & Poors once again reaffirmed the Town's highest rating and on (9/26/18) Moody's reaffirmed the Town's highest rating.

Advance signup is preferred. Speakers will be called in the order of receipt of a Public Comment Request Form. The forms are available on the Town Web site, in the Town Clerk’s Office (between the hours of 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM on the day of the meeting), and on the dais next to the Town Clerk during the meeting. A three minute limit per speaker will be strictly enforced. No interruptions by Town Board members, the Town Clerk or the public will be permitted. Any questions on agenda items should be asked at this time. Department Heads have the option of leaving the meeting following Public Comment. Therefore, if anyone has questions that are related to resolutions/items on the agenda that she/he would like to direct to a specific Department Head, those questions should be raised at this time. |
