Tyler Hughson -- Presentation of a Certificate of Appreciation for his outstanding efforts as a winter intern in the Town Supervisor's Office, having created a website for the Hispanic Liaison Department, performed outreach for the Upcoming Artists/Farmers Markets, and compiled narratives for the Greenburgh Archives of African American stories

Supervisor Feiner and Town Clerk Nero plan to coordinate and execute the Internship Program during the summer.  
 “WE ARE SO EXCITED TO CONTINUE THIS PROGRAM THAT HAS BEEN DEVELOPED AND CREATED BY NONE OTHER THAN THE ORIGINAL ORGANIZER OF THIS INTERNSHIP PROGRAM, TOWN CLERK SUSAN TOLCHIN.  AND WISH TO MAKE IT AN AMAZING SUMMER SO THAT THE STUDENTS THAT ARE PARTICIPATING REALLY GET A SENSE OF GOVERNMENT.  THEY ARE LEARNING THE INS AND OUTS AND WE ARE EXCITED BECAUSE WE’RE GOING TO BE WORKING WITH AN ORGANIZING GROUP IN THE TOWN OF GREENBURGH.  AGAIN, WE JUST WANT TO MAKE SURE THAT EVERYONE GETS THE BEST EXPERIENCE SO WE’RE LOOKING FORWARD TO THAT PROGRAM.”  Lisa Maria Nero

“IN 1963 IT WAS THE 100TH ANNIVERSARY OF ABRAHAMS LINCOLNS AND MAY I ASK SOME PATIENT PROCLAMATION AND THE AMENDMENTS THAT WERE PASSED AT THAT TIME WERE LARGELY OR PARTLY UNFULFILLED AND THIS MARCH ON WASHINGTON WAS THE 20TH CENTURY PIVOTAL EVENT AND THE STRUGGLE FOR CIVIL RIGHTS AND EQUALITY AND RACIAL EQUALITY I WAS AT A VERY PRESTIGIOUS WALL STREET FIRM AND TOLD THEM I FELT I HAD TO GO ON THIS MARCH.”
