MOMENT OF SILENCE
In memory of Ed Krauss, long-time District Leader and political pundit. Ed served for many years as the Democratic Village Chair of Ardsley, then Tarrytown, and once ran as the Democratic candidate for the Westchester County Legislature
In memory of James Cameron Hastings Planning Board member 2006 to 2018, Hastings Zoning Board member. Board member, Hudson River Foundation, Scenic Hudson, National Environmental trust, W. Alton Jones Foundation. Managing Partner Baker McKenzie
In memory of Michael J. Annicchiarico, father of paramedic Dean Anniccharico. Michael was a former Marine who worked for the Westchester County Sheriff’s Office and the Town of Greenburgh Police Department. He was a police officer with the Greenburgh Police Dept. from 1967 until his retirement in 2000. During his extensive career with the department, he was a member of the Community Policing Unit assigned to Hartsdale. He was also a long-time member of the department’s Special Weapons and Tactics Team.
In memory Kerstin Maj-Britt Hayward, mother of Laura Gallagher, Secretary to the Commissioner of Park & Recreation
In memory of Ronald O. Walker, Sr., lifelong resident of Fairview, Town of Greenburgh, devoted to family as well as his community, passed on March 22, 2018 at the age of 76 years old. An advocate for the educational, social and career development of youth in the Fairview community, after graduating from college, Ronald built his career as a Financial Consultant and returned to his community where he also served as a role model to youth and consultant to administrators at the then, Fairview / Greenburgh Community Center, later renamed the Theodore D. Young Community Center. Ronald was also a revered member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., and a Prince Hall Mason, of the Bright Hope Lodge #62 in White Plains. Ron served on the Ushers Board of Union Baptist Church and was also a member of the Westchester Marshals. He embraced laughter and always shared a positive word with others. |

SUPERVISOR & TOWN COUNCIL REPORTS/ANNOUNCEMENTS
GOOD NEWS...The Town continues (since 2008) to have the highest possible bond rating from both Standard & Poors (AAA) and Moody's (Aaa). Less than 3% of communities in the nation have top ratings of financial stability. Recently (10/06/2017), Moody's once again reaffirmed the Town's highest rating and on (10/10/17) Standard & Poors reaffirmed the Town's highest rating.

To consider a zoning text amendment to Section 285-34 of the Zoning Ordinance, entitled “PD Nonresidential Planned Development District,” as it relates to Sustainable-based Manufacturing Uses in the PD District (See CD 7 & CD 8)

PUBLIC COMMENT
Advance signup is preferred. Speakers will be called in the order of receipt of a Public Comment Request Form. The forms are available on the Town Web site, in the Town Clerk’s Office (until 7:00 PM on the day of the meeting), and on the dais next to the Town Clerk during the meeting. A three minute limit per speaker will be strictly enforced. No interruptions by Town Board members, the Town Clerk or the public will be permitted. Any questions on agenda items should be asked at this time. Department Heads have the option of leaving the meeting following Public Comment. Therefore, if anyone has questions that are related to resolutions/items on the agenda that she/he would like to direct to a specific Department Head, those questions should be raised at this time. |
