EVERYONE IS ENCOURAGED TO SPEAK BEFORE THE TOWN BOARD ON ANY SUBJECT;
HOWEVER, PERSONAL ATTACKS, OF ANY KIND, TOWARD ANYONE, WILL NOT BE PERMITTED
The Greenburgh Town Board appreciates comments from residents at its open meetings.  Recently, comments have been made that, whether intended or not, were hurtful to other members of the public because the comment perpetuated racial or religious tropes and stereotypes.  We believe it is appropriate to remind everyone that bigotry and hate have no place in Greenburgh.  As we move forward we will work together to educate each other around this issue.  Our goal is to maintain a robust and constructive dialogue.  We are confident that this Town can continue to have these dialogues.

PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE

MOMENT OF SILENCE

In memory of Richard Ronde, 80, who passed on March 21 at Calvary Hospital.  Richard was a former longtime member and Chair of the Town's Police Community Advisory Commission. Many of us remember Richard as a committed and innovative PCAC Chair

In memory of Roberta Karmel, 86, who passed on March 23.  In 1977, President Jimmy Carter nominated Roberta to be the first female Commissioner of the Security Exchanges Commission. A mentor for women in the legal profession, she was later a partner at her law firm, a full-time professor at Brooklyn Law School, and the first female director of the New York Stock Exchange

In memory of Thomas (Tom) Hatzilouloudes, 42, who passed on March 25 surrounded by his loving family. Tom was a former Town of Greenburgh Water Department employee

In memory of those killed in Ukraine due to the Russian invasion, and in memory of those who have perished in Israel and Gaza due to the terrorist attack by Hamas on October 7, 2023. We pray for a swift return of the hostages and for peace in the region.
