WETLAND/WATERCOURSE PERMIT REFERRALS
PB 25-15 185 Prospect Avenue, P.O. White Plains, NY
A Minor Wetland/Watercourse Permit application involving the installation of a basement drainage system with new piping to two (2) proposed drywells. A small brook runs through the eastern portion of the property, approximately 10 feet from the closest area of disturbance related to the project. The watercourse buffer area on the Applicant’s property consists of the entire lot, and the project involves approximately 150 sq. ft. of disturbance within the regulated buffer area. No direct disturbance to the watercourse is proposed.
The CAC recommends the permit for PB 25-15 be granted provided the following condition is satisfied: The recommendations contained in the Staff Report dated June 4, 2025 are adopted.

Garbage quiz/Food scrap recycling – Further review and discussion.
Artillery Lane – T. Tori reported on the June 13 visit to the site. The CAC will not develop any response before first seeing the plans for the site.
Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) Local Law Proposal – T. Tori reported on the June 25 Town Board continued public hearing, and further thoughts about this issue, including the advisability of considering a hard-number cap for the permitted number of units.
