Please take notice that, the Town Board of the Town of Greenburgh will be meeting on Saturday, January 18 at 1:00 p.m. at the Town Hall Auditorium, 177 Hillside Avenue, P.O. White Plains, NY 10607, to be followed by a site visit to 289 Dobbs Ferry Road, P.O. White Plains, N.Y. (Metropolis Country Club).

The Town Board public discussion and site visit are related to a zoning map and zoning text amendment proposal to create a new floating zone district (Continuum of Care Facility - CCF) to the Town’s Zoning Ordinance and Zoning Map, and to rezone to a CCF District, an approximately 6 acre portion of Parcel ID: 8.10-1-6, 8.141-94-15,16,17 & 18 [289 Dobbs Ferry Road]. If approved, Brightview Senior Living proposes to develop a 160-unit independent and assisted living building on the existing Metropolis Country Club property. The golf course would remain.

Please take notice that, due to site topography and the possibility of ice, snow, or wet conditions, appropriate footwear and outerwear should be worn for those also wishing to attend the site visit.

The site visit will be contingent on appropriate weather conditions. Updates will be provided on the Town website, should a cancellation due to weather become necessary.
