The meeting convened at 5:02 p.m. A quorum was present.

The Chair welcomed the members of the Board and members of the public.

The agenda was unanimously adopted.

The minutes of the October 15, 2020 meeting were unanimously adopted.

Ethics Training: There was nothing to report on Ethics Training.

The Chair advised the BOE that an email was sent to the Town Board advising them that the BOE had unanimously approved of David Fried’s online Ethics Training as an efficient tool to comply with Ethics Training.The Chair received an email from Councilman Sheehan advising that he would like to further discuss the matter.The BOE is waiting to hear from Mr. Sheehan.

Financial Disclosure: Mr. Fried advised the Board at this time there are two Board members who have not filed their Financial Disclosure Forms. The town clerk notified these two individuals by certified mail of their obligation to file an FDF, and advised them if their forms were not received by 11/27/20, their names will be sent to the Town Board and placed on the Town Board’s website.

Correspondence. The Board is in receipt of several emails from Hal Marc Samis. There was no comment by the Board.

Discussion of COE 570-11 (B) (Political makeup of the BOE). Upon motion from Hon. Doris Friedman, the BOE unanimously agreed to place the matter on the agenda of our next meeting.

Since the Rules provide that the BOE need not meet in August and December, and there being no pressing business before the BOE, upon motion of Mr. Hays, the BOE unanimously agreed to waive the December meeting. The next meeting was scheduled for 5 p.m., Thursday, January 21, 2021, by way of Zoom Videoconference.
