MOMENT OF SILENCE

In memory of Lola Daniels Hunter, 92, who passed May 12, 2024. For 37 years, Lola was the Director of Westchester County Dept. of Social Services, earning her undergraduate and masters degrees during that time. She was the President of the White Plains/ Greenburgh Branch of the NAACP, and a Life Chair member. She was also a very active member of Bethel Baptist Church and was a longtime member of the Greenburgh Police Community Advisory Commission. She served as the treasurer of the North Elmford Civic Association and was a pillar of the civic association, always willing to lend a helping hand. The entire Greenburgh community mourns her loss.

In memory of those killed in Ukraine due to the Russian invasion, and in memory of those who have perished in Israel and Gaza due to the terrorist attack by Hamas on October 7, 2023. We pray for a swift return of the hostages and for peace in the region.
