WETLAND/WATERCOURSE PERMIT REFERRALS
· PB 23-06 – Sarar - 6 Drake Lane, White Plains, NY Based on consideration of the documents presented to the CAC in connection with the application and the meeting discussions, The CAC voted to recommend that the Wetland/Watercourse Permit for: PB 23-06 – Sarar, 6 Drake Lane, White Plains, NY be granted, provided THE FOLLOWING CONDITION is satisfied: 1. The recommendations contained in the Staff Report dated Sept. 8, 2023, are adopted.

Thalle Quarry
Matt shared that Thalle Quarry has asked the stop work order request to be revoked.
Blower Law

– no new discussion.
Plastic Recycling
–Terri requested researching plastic bag collection at supermarkets. Liz will look into this.
Accessory Dwelling Units
– Per Terri, they will be presenting to the Town Board soon. They added language regarding the importance of road width as an important consideration as additional parking isn’t available on narrower streets as well as the need to consider municipal truck access (i.e., sanitation).
Natural Resource Inventory -

NEW BUSINESS
FCWC
– Tracy Stora shared that the FCWC is working to connect Westchester CACs. She has been traveling the County sitting in on CAC meetings. They are organizing their first county wide CAC event at the Greenburgh Nature Center on October 21
st,
and we are all invited to attend. Tracy shared that Greenburgh’s CAC’s work is considered the gold standard. Other CACs look to our codes and the success of our codes when considering creating their own. She specifically mentioned Greenburgh’s Town Tree Ordinance and recently passed Bamboo Law as examples of outstanding work.
