          GOOD NEWS...The Town continues (since 2008) to have the highest possible bond rating from Standard & Poors (AAA) and (since 2010) (Aaa) from Moody's.  Less than 1% of communities in the nation have this record of financial stability.  Recently, 09/19/2019, Standard & Poors once again reaffirmed the Town's highest rating; on 9/18/2019 Moody's also reaffirmed the Town's highest rating.

DECISION
 
Having previously voted to move fire hydrant maintenance charges from the Fairview, Greenburgh and Hartsdale Fire Districts' property tax bills and from Fire Protection District charges, the Town Board shall vote on the following method of adding a Municipal Public Fire Hydrant maintenance fee to Greenburgh Consolidated Water District #1 water usage bills (see Resolution TB 3):
                                    $0.39 / 1,000 gallons            for quarterly billed customers
                                  $36.83 / monthly fixed fee       for monthly-billed customers

PUBLIC COMMENT

Advance signup is preferred. Speakers will be called in the order of receipt of a Public Comment Request Form.  The forms are available on the Town Web site, in the Town Clerk’s Office (between the hours of 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM on the day of the meeting), and on the dais next to the Town Clerk during the meeting.  A three minute limit per speaker will be strictly enforced.  No interruptions by Town Board members, the Town Clerk or the public will be permitted.  Any questions on agenda items should be asked at this time.  Department Heads have the option of leaving the meeting following Public Comment.  Therefore, if anyone has questions that are related to resolutions/items on the agenda that she/he would like to direct to a specific Department Head, those questions should be raised at this time.
 
DIAL DEMOCRACY - If you cannot attend the Town Board meeting and want to speak with the Town Board during the Board meeting, you can participate by phone.  The Town Board will call up to 4 residents at the conclusion of the Public Comment period. To participate in Dial Democracy you must  make the request in advance of the Town Board meeting. Contact the Town Clerk's Office at 989-1501 or email townclerk@greenburghny.com by Tuesday, 5:00 PM, the day before the Wednesday Town Board meeting with the phone number and name of the person to be called.  We will place the names of the participants on the final agenda. Dial Democracy participants will have up to 3 minutes per phone call to comment after the first public comment period.  Please time your comments in advance to comply with the 3 minute requirement.
