2.    Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there will be no public gathering in Town Hall for this meeting. 3.   ZBA Case No. 20-14 Lightbridge Academy, for property located at 529 Central Park Avenue South, (P.O. Scarsdale, N.Y.)  Applicant is requesting area variances from Section 285 Attachment I of the Zoning Ordinance to reduce the total number of off-street parking spaces from 69 (required) to 45 ft. (proposed); and from Section 285-29.1(C)(3) to decrease the minimum distance from the off-street parking to the principal building from 10 ft. (required) to 0 ft. (proposed), in order to permit a daycare facility. The property is located in a CA-Mixed Use Impact District and is designated on the Town Tax Map as Parcel ID:  8.410-298-6
 
4.   ZBA Case No. 20-22 Saw Mill Stone & Masonry Supply, for property located at 34-40 & 50 Saw Mill River Road, (P.O. Hastings-on-Hudson, N.Y). Applicant is requesting area variances from Section 285-38(E) of the Zoning Ordinance to reduce off-street parking from 21 (required) to 8 (proposed); from Section 285-32(B)(5) to reduce the distance from the off-street parking area to the principal building from 25 ft. (required) to 0 ft. (proposed); from Section 285-32(A)(3)(b) to reduce the distance from a storage shed to the front lot line from 25 ft. (required) to 0 ft. (proposed), to the north lot line from 25 ft. (required) to 0 ft. (proposed), to the  south lot line from 25 ft. (required) to 0 ft. (proposed) and to the rear lot line from 25 ft. (required) to 10.41 ft. (proposed); from Section 285-38(H)2) to reduce the minimum landscape buffer in front from 10 ft. (required) to 0 ft. (proposed, on the north side from 10 ft. (required) to 0 ft. (proposed) and on the south side from 10 ft. (required) to 0 ft. (proposed); from Section 285-32(3)(B) to reduce screening of storage from 6 ft. in height (required) to 0 ft. in height (proposed) on the front, north side, south side and rear, in order to subdivide the property. The property is located in an LI-Light Industrial District and is designated on the Town Tax Map as Parcel ID: 8.610-421-72, 8.610-421-73 & 8.610-421-74
 
5.   ZBA Case No. 20-23 - Durga Temple of Westchester, for property located at 1880 Saw Mill River Road, (P.O. White Plains, N.Y).  Applicant is requesting an area variance from Section 285-10(a)(1)(e)(2) of the Zoning Ordinance to reduce the front yard from 100 ft. (required)  to 36.8 ft. (proposed), in order to convert a One-Family house into a house of worship. The property is located in an R-20 One-Family Residential District and is designated on the Town Tax Map as Parcel ID: 7.520-311-1

7.   ZBA Case No. 20-24 - Jonathan Hwang & Zhi Chang Diao, for property located at 19 Tamarack Trail, (P.O. Hartsdale, N.Y).  Applicant is requesting an area variance from Section 285-39(D)(2)(a) the Zoning Ordinance to increase the maximum Floor Area Ratio (F.A.R.) from 3, 535 sq. ft. (permitted), to 3,813 sq. ft. (proposed); from Section 285-14(B)(4)(d) to reduce the rear yard setback from 28 ft. (required) to 22.58 ft. (proposed), in order to construct an addition.  The property is located in an R-10 One-Family Residential District and is designated on the Town Tax Map as Parcel ID: 8.410-300-4
 
8.   ZBA Case No. 20-25 - Sylvia Emmer & Daniel Meruelo, for property located at 102 Edgemont Road, (P.O. Scarsdale, N.Y). Applicant is requesting area variances from Section 285-16(B)(3)(a) the Zoning Ordinance to increase the maximum building coverage from 30 % (permitted), 37.2 % (existing) to 40.4 % (proposed); from Section 285-16(B)(3)(b) to increase the maximum impervious surface from 43.75 % (permitted), 45.33 % (existing) to 67.3 % (proposed); from Section 285-39(D)(2)(a) to increase the maximum Floor Area Ratio (F.A.R.) from 1,439 sq. ft. (permitted), 2,915 sq. ft. (existing) to 3,135 sq. ft. (proposed); from Section 285-16(B)(4)(a) to reduce the front yard setback from 20 ft. (required), 10.8 ft. (existing) to 12 ft. (proposed); from Section 285-16(B)(4)(b) to reduce one side yard setback from 10 ft. (required), 6.2 ft. (existing) to 6.2 ft. (proposed); from Section 285-(B)(4)(c) to reduce a total of two side yards from 18 ft. (required), 16.2 ft. (existing) to 16.2 ft. (proposed); and from Section 285-42(C)(1) to enlarge a nonconforming structure so as to increase such nonconformance, in order to construct an addition.  The property is located in an R-5 One-Family Residential District and is designated on the Town Tax Map as Parcel ID: 8.540-376-19
 
9.   ZBA Case No. 20-26 - Zareen Khan, for property located 6 Carlyle Place, (P.O. Hartsdale, N.Y).  Applicant is requesting an area variance from Section 285-14(B)(5)(b) of the Zoning Ordinance to reduce the driveway setback from 12 ft. (required) to 2 ft. (proposed), in order to expand the driveway. The property is located in an R-10 One-Family Residential District and is designated on the Town Tax Map as Parcel ID: 8.130-85-9
